United Bank's Big Donation to GMU
United Bank was recently celebrated for its $300k contribution to the GMU Foundation. The funding will go toward the United Bank Early Identification Program Scholarship Endowment Fund, which helps first-generation students pay for college. Started at GMU in 1987, the program specifically helps underserved, minority and other capable students who would be the first in their family to attend college. United Bank president/CEO Jim Consagra celebrated alongside GMU president Ángel Cabrera and several graduating EIP students.
