Well-Known Silicon Valley Entrepreneur Dies
Silicon Valley and the wider tech community are mourning the sudden loss of SurveyMonkey CEO Dave Goldberg, who was married to Facebook COO and Lean In author Sheryl Sandberg. The cause of the 47-year-old’s death wasn’t known, but the New York Times reports that he was on vacation abroad with his family at the time of his death. Dave, who had two children with Sheryl, was a beloved and respected Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He grew SurveyMonkey, a web-based survey technology company, from 14 employees in 2009 to 500. [NYT]
