Young Media Company Gets In On Presidential Debates

Digital agency and media company MGA has partnered with ABC News to host the New Hampshire Republican primary debate in February. The Alexandria company’s popular IJReview news site, which focuses on politics, gets 35 million monthly visitors, just two years after being launched by Alex Skatell (center), here with editor-in-chief Bubba Atkinson and VP and executive editor Michelle Jaconi. Stories are tailored to a mobile and social media audience and include images, vines and GIFs. MGA also developed Shuffle, a social news app that finds news stories tailored to the user’s interests and allows them to reject or save stories for later and recommend stories to friends.
