Former GSA Head Dan Tangherlini Will Lead Washington Ops For Tech Startup
Former General Services Administration administrator Dan Tangherlini is joining a New York City-based tech startup to lead its Washington operations.
Tangherlini is joining SeamlessDocs, a year-old cloud document platform provider, to serve as president of Seamless Federal. He will resign his post as COO at Artemis Real Estate Partners, where he has served since leaving the GSA in February 2015, FCW Insider reports.
For his new gig, Tangherlini will be tasked with introducing the firm’s services to the federal marketplace, and will be based out of tech incubator 1776. The cloud-based platform of SeamlessDocs hosts PDF versions of forms that users can fill out and submit, bypassing the need for paper forms.
SeamlessDocs is the latest NYC-based tech startup to set its sights on expansion in the District. Last year, tech startup Paintzen, which aims to change the painting industry, entered the DC market after determining the region buys a lot of paint. [FCW]
