Billions After Hurricane Sandy
Five-term NY congressman Tom Reynolds may not be on the Hill anymore, but he's still aiding his home state. Now based in DC as Nixon Peabody's government relations chair, Tom pitched in to help New York City get federal relief funding in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The firm was working on behalf of the Building Americas Future, which was founded by former Governors Rendell and Schwarzenegger, and Mayor Bloomberg.

A registered lobbyist (and former House Ways and Means Committee senior member), Tom has worked with a Nixon Peabody team and Haley Barbour to move legislation through the House and Senate. He tells us the government relations group is seeing business grow as more companies and trade associations seek help understanding what's going on in the government.
