Celebrity Bartenders
Nobody can resist a little celeb bartending. Of course, in DC, celebs means lawyers and execs.
The Legal Aid Society of DC held a cocktail party at PJ Clarke's this week with bartenders who ranged from C-SPAN GC Bruce Collins to Futures Group CEO Chris LeGrand. Reed Smith DC managing partner Scott Bolden won the most popular bartender by earning $1,000 in tips. It didn't hurt that he got the tip jar going by offering the largest tippers two floor seats to this Saturday's Wizards game. Other bartenders include LMI GC Manik Rath, Greenberg Traurig DC co-managing partners Sanford Saunders and Laura Metcoff Klaus, MITRE GC Sol Glasner, EchoStar GC Dean Manson, Vedder Price shareholder Amy Bess, and Saab North America GC Mark Pugliese. Cassidy Turley VP Renee Weir sponsored the event with Cassidy Turley's Amanda Tiede, Peabody Office's Chris and Stephen Peabody, and Wells Fargo's Ted Cadmus.
