David Silver, Holland & Knight
David repped PNC in selling PNC Place last month for $1,075/SF, setting the record for highest price per square foot in DC. (The building, at 800 17th St, is also where H&K leases.) The Georgetown Law grad is also a CPA and worked as an accountant for five years after attending Lehigh. He focuses on real estate acquisition, development, financing and commercial leases, currently repping the owners of the Regal Bethesda theater; WMATA is looking to build the new Purple Line underneath it. David was raised in Montgomery County, and after living in NY, Boston, Seattle and Atlanta, he returned to the area, where his children attended the same high school he did: Walt Whitman. Outside the office, you can find him biking, skiing, playing golf or at his beach house in Dewey. In a welcome break from this weather, he's heading to Costa Rica next month with his family to celebrate his father's 80th birthday.
