NJ-Based Firm Opens DC Office
As DC becomes ever more important to clients, more firms are opening up shop. The 300-lawyer firm Lowenstein Sandler, which opened in New Jersey in 1961, just popped up at 2200 Pennsylvania Ave. The office is starting with seven attorneys (some long-term Lowenstein Sandler lawyers, and four others joining from Dickstein Shapiro), and plans to expand immediately. Office administrator of Lowenstein's Roseland, NJ, office, Mary Bogart, with the scissors. She's been with the firm since 1980. For Jerome Davis, right, this marks his 29th year with the firm. Lowenstein also has offices in NY and California. It plans to grow the District's litigation practice, along with areas including IP, investment management, and life sciences.
