New Center at G'town Law
Georgetown University Law Center is opening a new Center on Privacy and Technology, the school announced. It'll be led by Alvaro Bedoya, chief counsel to the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy and its chairman, Sen. Al Franken. (Above, Alvaro, center, is at the Hispanic Bar Association of DC's Equal Justice Awards.) He'll join in August and says that the Center will be a "leading voice in the debate to preserve privacy and civil liberties." The Center is funded by the Ford Foundation.
