Remembering Thomas Boggs Jr.

Yesterday marked the passing of legendary lawyer and lobbyist Thomas Boggs Jr.
Washington is saddened and stunned by the death of Thomas Boggs at age 73. The lobbying powerhouse was the chairman of Patton Boggs and more recently, chairman emeritus of the merged firm Squire Patton Boggs. Influential, upstanding, pioneering in the lobbying industry, he will be sorely missed. Boggs was the son of former House majority leader Thomas Hale Boggs Sr., and Lindy Boggs, who took later over her husband's seat.
