This Morning's Spectrum Wars

"This is the forever war," says Inmarsat VP Chris Murphy of the fight for spectrum. This morning, we joined space and satellite lawyers at the W Hotel for a colloquium on regulatory issues, fueled by coffee and candy bars. On the first panel: Latham partner John Janka, Chris Murphy, EchoStar VP Jennifer Manner, and Jones Day partner Bruce Olcott. Spectrum is a limited national resource, Chris continues—there isn't going to be more created, just more people fighting for what exists.
