MCCA Searching for New CEO
The Minority Corporate Counsel Association announced yesterday that it's searching for a new CEO. Current president and CEO Joe West is transitioning out at the end of 2015. He's led MCCA for the past four years, during which it expanded membership and launched new business development programs and training initiatives. (Check out coverage of the MCCA's annual Diversity Gala.) The organization, which was founded in '97, advocates for recruitment and promotion of diverse attorneys in corporate legal departments and law firms. Before Joe was at the helm, the president was Veta Richardson, who went on to head the Association of Corporate Counsel.
