Last night we also went to Artisphere for SELECT 2014, the Washington Project for the Arts’ 33rd annual Art Auction Exhibition opening reception. Guests sipped on wine and beer while they viewed work from 111 artists in a variety of media. We snapped Vivo Design Studios' Andres Tremols, Austrian TV's Lauren Silva-Pinto and her husband, journalist Fernando.
Peacock Cafe provided kobe roast beef sliders, cajun shrimp, and stuffed grape leaves. Here, United Airlines Charlotte Behr, artist Phillip Pradier, Promontory Financial Group's Seemeen Hashem, and National Children's Museum's Veronica Szalus.
All of the art was up for auction and can be viewed until March 21. Here, public art consultant Kim Ward, Sheppard Mullin’s Jim Ritter, Kirkland & Ellis's Ragan Naresh, and his wife Art Registry's Jessica.
