BUILD DC!
We went to the BUILD Metro DC Holiday Bazaar at the Pepco Edison Place Gallery and saw young entrepreneurs sell products they had manufactured at BUILD’s own Business Incubators. We snapped Cambridge Associates’ Sean O'Connell, National Science Foundation’s Lindsay D'Ambrosio and Greenline Real Estate’s Anna-Marie Ashe.
Guests did some holiday shopping while supporting student startups, dozens of entrepreneurial business ventures, such as fashion accessories, glow in the dark watches and candles. Here, Ernst & Young’s Margaret O'Connor, Retail Industry Leaders Association’s Caroline Burns and Sirius XM’s Bingham Togia.
BUILD is an innovative four-year program for under-resourced high school students providing entrepreneurial experience that empowers them to excel in education, with 100% accepted to college. Here, BUILD Regional Executive Director Bryce Jacobs with Pepco Regional VP Donna Cooper.
Guests enjoyed wine, DC Brau beer and light fare. Here, Friendship Collegiate Academy student Maurice Brooks with his mentor, GW career coach Kaitlyn Maloney, and Advisory Board’s Rebecca Stefaniak.
