Bill Gates!

Placeholder

Last night we also went to The Atlantic offices to hear Bill Gates talk to an intimate audience. He said he never thought of himself as an entrepreneur, but rather as a software engineer who loved computers so much that he wanted to create a company around his passion. He also said that venture capitalists expect 80% of their investments to fail, because the 20% that get home runs more than make up for it; but in foreign aid, of which he’s a big proponent, we foolishly expect 100% success. He also talked about the importance of getting a good education.
