Charity Happy Hour!
Last night we also went to The Gryphon for a Charity Happy Hour for 20s & 30s Meet-up, a social group for people who enjoy dancing, dining, being outdoors, and other local activities. Guests enjoyed drink specials on Corona, specialty vodka cocktails, and wine. We snapped Washington Hospital Center’s Elysia Jordan, Candice Johnson, and Children’s Hospital’s Kenya Gunn.
Each month, the group hosts happy hours to raise money for different charities. Last night’s benefited Hope Connections For Cancer Support, a nonprofit that helps people with cancer and their loved ones with programs of emotional support, education, wellness, and hope. Here, graphic designer Maureen Vogel, GWU’s Vance Powell, teacher Ariel Enoch, and DOD’s Mark Enoch.
Hope Connections president Paula Rothenberg is surrounded by Commonwealth Orthopaedics’ Maggie Fitzgerald, Brede Exposition Services’ Larry Rothenberg, Elite Physical Therapy & Wellness Center’s Mia Smysee, and Arthritis & Rehabilitation Services’s Victoria Down.
Congrats to DJ Saam, who recently got engaged. He spun loungy, groovy beats all evening.
