Cheers for a Cure!
Last night we also went to Dupont’s Public Bar for Cheers for a Cure, a commercial real estate fundraiser to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and to support Bisnow’s Whitney Cohn, who’s running for LLS Woman of the Year. The winner is determined not by how fabulous they are, or she’d have won already, but by how much money they raise for the cause. We snapped her committee: American Society for Nutrition’s Allanna Wallace, Discovery Communications’ Shawnee Cohn, UBS’ Liz Ovits, Bisnow’s Whitney Cohn, Bohler DC’s Sheila Nale, and Bisnow’s Marie Finnegan.
Guests enjoyed a festive happy hour with drink specials while networking with some of DC’s best CRE professionals, such as Sigal’s Sarosh Olpadwala, Cassidy Turley’s Angela Poliskey, First Time Mortgage’s Jake Ryon, and L’Enfant Trust’s Dennis Sykes. There was a Stella & Dot trunk show and a great raffle featuring Virginia winery tours. We’ll be at the Ritz-Carlton this Saturday to cheer Whitney on during the LLS Man & Woman of the Year Gala.
