Couture!
We went to the Historical Society of Washington last night for DC Fashion Week’s 21st International Couture Collections finale fashion show.
We snapped Persian designer Mariam Heydari, here with her models, who has shown the most collections in the history of DC Fashion Week.
WUSA9 reporter J. Carter with her interns Honor Williams and Amber Lewis and assistant Hollyn Randolph. Guests wore cocktail attire, sipped wine, and had discounts on vendors like Prestige Concepts, Mary Kay, and Madison’s Closet.
DC Fashion Week is in its tenth year. Here, Perfect Gentleman by P.S.W. designer Peter Walden with his models showcasing the Tanzanian line.
Russian-born designer Nelli Millard had some of the most wearable designs of the night, with work-appropriate dresses and structured jackets. Here, her model Elena Maconaughey and daughter Anya.
DC Fashion Week is twice a year. After the show, we snapped the night’s designers who represented fashion lines Heydari, Perfect Gentleman by P.S.W, Nelli Millard Fashion House, Svelte Couture, Chalina Couture, and Semoner Designs.
The night ended with a stunning collection by Corjor International, the line of DC Fashion Week executive director Ean Williams, with dramatic gowns, including wedding dresses, and this pink showstopper.
