DC, Exposed!
Last night we swung by the opening night of the eighth annual Exposed DC Photography Show at the newly renovated Long View Gallery on 9th Street.
Deloitte’s Joe Ditchett (right) tells us he was honored to be one of the featured photographers in the exhibit, since he didn't start taking photos until he moved to DC in 2010. We snapped him with Campbell Soup’s Patrick Brooks, Baltimore City Public Schools’ Lauren McKinley, and brivo’s JuliAnn Tuleya.
ICF International’s Emily Anderson, Williams and Jensen’s Kevin Prior, Achievement Prep Academy’s Kayla Winters, and Emily’s List’s Will Rusche enjoy drinks from Bluejacket Brewery. We liked the bacon lollipops by Founding Farmers.
Video producer Craig Schattner, Gobal DMC Partners’ Hannah Oppenheim, CSIS’ Nicole White and Annie Hudson, and Birch & Barley’s Carl Crafts. They came to support their friend, Betsy Law, who was selected for her “Poolside” photograph.
The show, which runs through April 6, features 49 incredible images of the Washington area from local photographers. Armando Gallardo won Best of Show for his photograph of a couple kissing at last year’s Sweet Life Festival.
