Dinner On Stage!
Saturday we also went to Dinner On Stage at Woolly Mammoth Theatre. We snapped its director of development Sarah Dovere with Judge Paul Friedman and his wife, event co-chair Liz Friedman.
Guests got a behind-the-scenes look at the theatre: the cocktail reception in the backstage areas, including the green room and props room; an elegant dinner on the stage; and dancing and dessert in the Kogod Lobby. Here, Marge Pastor with N Street Village’s Stuart Allen, event co-chair Jane Fishkin and Woolly artistic director Howard Shalwitz.
Patrons mingled with the theatre's artists, staff, and board. Here, managing director Meghan Pressman, Board member and GE’s senior counsel Michael Fitzpatrick, and playwright Miriam Gonzales.
Guests also enjoyed mini-performances from the theatre's artists, with skits from each period of the theatre's 35 years—including a sneak preview of the upcoming production Famous Puppet Death Scenes, premiering Dec. 9. Here, Julie Rios with Library of Congress’ MaryBeth Weis, and actress Sarah Marshall.
