F… FORKS!
Last night we also headed to Industree’s 2nd annual F… Forks culinary fight against cancer at Mess Hall. Talented chefs from Table, Toki Underground, Roofers Union, and The Pig banned utensils and created some finger-friendly bites, like pork buns, beet yogurt on caraway crackers, mussels with uni cream on a potato chip, and pig face spring rolls. We snapped Dept of Commerce’s Whitney Rolig, LookThink’s Nate Ginesi, and Bond & Pecaro’s Stephanie Wong.
Bartenders from Jack Rose, RiRa, and Cava Mezze mixed up some great cocktails, like the honey buho with mescal, a special twist on an Old-Fashioned with Catoctin Creek, and a saffron daisy drink. Here, Industree’s Sabrina Zahid, Mary Kong-Devito, Alisia Kleinmann, and Howard Kra.
DJ Kid Cannibal spun tunes, while drag queens and performers mingled with guests and live art was spray painted by a graffiti artist. Here, Congressional Seafood’s Jon Pearlman, flanked by The Art Registry’s Jessica Naresh and Jill Pearlman.
Proceeds went to F… Cancer charity. Here, Mess Hall’s Jodie Goldberg, Occasions Caterers’ Shelby Pike, and Pew Charitable Trusts’ Michelle Pike.
