What better way to spend an evening than with food and friends? That's exactly what we did at the Washington Hilton Tuesday night during the 24th annual Chef's Best dinner and auction, as hundreds gathered for Food & Friends to taste delectable treats from over 50 of DC's best chefs.

We snapped the team from Pearl Dive Oyster Bar, which served pulled pork ravioli: head chef James Huff, owner Jeff Black, Carri Ann Hamer, and Beau Monroe. Shrimp was a popular ingredient for the night; we tried shrimp BLT sliders and shrimp and grits from Chef Geoff.

In addition to the food, guests participated in live and silent auctions, with trips to Miami, the Cayman Islands, and St. Thomas. Here, the Meltzer Group's Billy Karlin, builders Tim and Stacey Wills, and real estate investor Dan Adler.
