Heart’s Delight!
Last night we also went to Fiola Mare on the Georgetown waterfront for the Heart’s Delight Chairman Reception. We snapped Genentech’s Mary Wachter, Lockheed Martin’s Toni Lepone, and Deloitte’s Barry Wiggins.
This year’s chair Evan Morris, here with Medstar’s Dr. Susan Bennett and McManus Group’s John McManus, spoke about their 2015 goal to raise $1.5 million.
Heart’s Delight is an annual premier four-day event in April with wine dinners, tastings, and master classes. Here, Telebright’s Chet Thaker with supporters Julie Dobson and Janice Guarino.
In 15 years, Heart’s Delight has raised over $13 million for the American Heart Association. One of the founders, Gail Bassin, is bookended by JBS’ Jerri Shaw and by her daughter, USAID’s Ilyse Stempler.
