Jingle Ball!
Last night we also went to HOT 99.5's Jingle Ball at Verizon Center to see performances by Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, Demi Lovato, OneRepublic, Iggy Azalea, Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor, Jessie J, Lil Jon, Charli XCX, Kiesza, Rixton, Rita Ora and Shawn Mendes, with special guest host Nick Jonas, and Kane, Danni and intern John from HOT 99.5's The Kane Show. We snapped pop icon Ariana Grande.
Jessie J, who's sold more than 11 million singles, most notable for Bang Bang, Domino and Price Tag, joined Ariana Grande on stage. The concert is part of the national iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour; part of the proceeds benefit the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, who climbed the charts with the summer hit Fancy and the current single Black Widow.
Headliners 5 Seconds of Summer, an Australian pop rock punk band whose self-titled studio album reached No. 1 in 12 countries, had all the girls screaming. Here, lead singer Luke Hemmings.
Nick Jonas, former Jonas brother, with recent single Chains, joined the Kane show crew to chat between songs.
