N Street!
At the N Street Village gala at Malmaison, an award was given in memory of N Street Village friend and ambassador Evan Bliss.In its first year, the award was presented to Evans parents Don and Nancy Blissby N Street development directorStuart Allen, here with Evan's friends Jason Mattis and Justin Fishkin.Evan was an extraordinarily talented musician, front man of popular local band The Low Life, athletic, compassionate, and dedicated to his work with the Henry M. Jackson Foundation, a nonprofit that promotes medical research. He died tragically last summer at the age of 35 after a long flight home from Kenya.
Grammy winner Arrested Development had a high-energy set that lasted over an hour, playing their hits Tennessee and Everyday People and introducing new songs by mega-producer Kevin KHAO Cates, who opened his set with a song that featured Evan Bliss singing on the screen. N Street Village helps homeless and low-income women with comprehensive services for emergency and long-term needs.
