New Vintage Jazz & Wine Festival!
We went to the New Vintage Jazz & Wine Festival at the DC Fairgrounds adjacent to Nats Park. A portion of the proceeds went to the non-profit Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation. We snapped its reps Wendi Coker and Melissa Lynch flanking Metro’s Fred Johnson and Calvert County Social Services’ Kandice Mackall.
Guests got a chance to sample 15 world-class wines and experience the latest sounds in modern and classic jazz. Here, Ben Cross, sponsor Petworth Jazz Project’s Tom Pipkin, and Dept of Justice’s Douglas Rathbun.
Art Whino added visual vibrancy with two live painting stations where artists created large-scale pieces for silent auction, contributing to the relationship between art and music. Here, its reps Korey Richardson, Shane Pomajambo and Tim Rodgers.
