Old Bay Day Party!
We went to the Old Bay Day Party on Labor Day at City Tap House. We snapped its exec chef Chad Weise (right) with Pro Shuckers Seafood Company’s Rusty Steele, Steve Curran (owner), and Stephen Hunter.
Guests ate Maryland blue crabs seasoned with Old Bay, jambalaya rice, and corn on the cob. Here, 3 Stars Brewing Company’s Dave Coleman with City Tap House GM Pearson Keys and marketing head Elizabeth Gartzke.
There was a bottomless Bloody Mary bar and beer specials, including cask drafts from Sly Fox Brewing Company and Dead Rise Old Bay Summer Ale from Frederick, Md.’s Flying Dog Brewery.
