P-Art-y!
We headed to the recently renovated Hillyer Art Space for P-Art-y, art and cocktails. Guests perused featured artist Michele Montalbano’s Babel print and stamp work while sipping wine from Kramerbooks & Afterwords. We snapped GWU’s Virginia Bennis, State Dept’s Kristen Allen, and In'tl Arts & Artists’ David Furchgott.
The Hilyer is part of Dupont’s First Friday gallery crawl. Here, the gallery’s owner Allison Nance and her husband, Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s Kevin Nance.
Artist Rachel Schmidt, here, with her husband Adrian Erlinger, showcased her series Apocaloptimist: A Future True Story.
Montalbono Capitol Letter Press Studio’s Scip Barnhart did the print work for the event. He’s flanked by Georgetown U’s Mike Dowley and American U’s Ellington Robinson.
