PEN/Faulkner!
Yesterday we went to a PEN/Faulkner Founding Friends Luncheon featuring Susan Coll, author of Beach Week, Acceptance, and Rockville Pike. She talked about her newest novel, The Stager, a darkly funny story about someone who stages homes that are going to be sold, and finds herself ensnared in emotional treachery from which she’s not sure she can escape. We snapped the author surrounded by WPAS Board member Alison Arnold and PEN/Faulkner EVP Willee Lewis, and by former CPSC chair Ann Brown.
The two luncheon hosts, Aviva Kempner, in whose home it was held, and PEN/Faulkner VP Kathy Field Stephen, are bookended by architect Marilyn Stern and the JCC's Michael Singer.
