Phillips After Five!
Last night, we also went to Phillips After Five for art and entertainment at The Phillips Collection, which showcases founder Duncan Phillips’ favorite paintings. We snapped Thurgood Marshall Academy’s Raven Bradburn and Plan International USA’s Meg Cangany and Mollie Connell.
The monthly reception allows guests to tour the galleries while tasting kimchi deviled eggs with crispy pork belly bites, sipping a specialty gin cocktail, and listening to live music from the Marshall Keys Quartet. Here, GWU’s Catherine Coogan, Steptoe & Johnson’s Jay Hobbs, FCC’s James Wiley, and Alliance for Justice’s Abby Bar-Lev.
Guests participated in a still-life drawing activity, harvesting their inner creativity by drawing vegetables from Freshfarm Market. Here, American Express’ George and Kathy Gott, LastPass’ Amber Gott, and CGI’s Andrew Steel.
The Phillips Collection opened in 1921 and is America’s first museum of modern art. Here, IMF’s Alessia Dstefani, Pablo Anaya, and Anne Oeking.
Travis Holler, Alfredo Flores, and Richelle Manansala contributed to this issue.
