Pink Tie Party!
After a long winter, spring is officially here today, so last night we headed to the Pink Tie Party at the Ronald Reagan Building to kick off the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
Cherry blossom lovers celebrated in style, strutting on a pink carpet at the eighth annual fundraiser. We snapped Bruce Bingle, Anne Namba Designs’ Roxanne Cassidy, YuLin Bingle, and its owner Anne Namba, who designed “kimono couture” for the party, and WUSA 9’s Jan Jeffcoat.
A delicious display of small plates included duck confit aligot potatoes, beef tenderloin radicchio risotto, and lemon grass ginger red snapper. Here, Boys Town’s Elisa Farr, Robert Williams, Clinovations’ Fatema Rafiqi and Rashi Kapoor, and Cherry Blossom Festival’s Ruby King.
Desserts were plentiful; guests indulged in funnel cakes, mini waffle cones with mango sorbet, and root beer floats by Gilford’s Ice Cream. Here, Entertainment Cruises’ Julie Paulson, Linda Circo, and Candice Rackey, and Broadway Real Estate Services’ James Circo.
Libations were overflowing with an open bar, wines from Chateau St. Jean, and pink champagne served by the sparkling lady, wearing a skirt of flutes. Here, Ronald Reagan Building’s Annette Colflesh, Lindsey Schneider, Phillip Gambrell, and Danielle Johnson.
