Stroud 5K!
We headed to brunch at Surfside after the Stroud Foundation 4th annual 5k through Georgetown. The Foundation was established in honor of pediatrician Dr. Frank Stroud to improve the lives of children with learning disabilities, specifically ADD/ADHD; proceeds will continue his lifelong dedication. We snapped Dept of Agriculture’s Paulo Almeida, and Stroud Communications’ prez Kandie Stroud and Derel Farmer.
On this beautiful spring day, 300 walkers and runners brought their children and dogs for a stroll, starting at Fletcher’s Boat House, to Georgetown and back. Here, Stroud Foundation’s Marine Rossel and Shannon Stroud, who are holding Finley and Griffin, and Carmen Group’s Alison Cricks.
At Surfside, one of their sponsors, guests had a private brunch on the deck and ate buttermilk waffles with cinnamon butter, huevos rancheros, and poached eggs with braised carnitas. Here, Stroud Foundation’s Stephane and Brooke Carnot, with their kids Olivia and Alex.
