Super Chefs at Our Super Schmooze!
Are the words open bar and top-notch networking enough to entice you into spending an evening with us at our Super Schmooze on June 12? How about having 25 incredible chefs who will cook for you? Our Dining Bisnow editor has been getting to know them; we’re profiling a few today. Marcel’s, the haute French Belgian restaurant by chef Robert Weidmaier, may already be your special occasion spot. At our Super Schmooze you can try two of his dishes: a spicy tuna tartar with avocado mousse and sesame tuile and a melon gazpacho with wild flower honey and cinnamon crouton.
Art & Soul serves seasonally driven cuisine influenced by the South. Chef Wes Morton, who will be dishing up something delicious at our Super Schmooze comes from Southern Louisiana and says he likes to “treat things simple” in the kitchen. Yum.
Another great chef at our June 12 extravaganza: Westend Bistro chef Jessica Biederman, whom we snapped putting the final touches on one of her signature dishes. At our Super Schmooze, she’ll serve lobster tater tots with tarragon and whole grain mustard crème fraîche.
It’s not a party without killer cocktails, so prepare to sip on something special at our Super Schmooze from Marvin Mixologist Ferit Ozergul. You’ll find him at the Marvin Gaye tribute bar on 14th Street slinging cocktails like the one we snapped him making called The Suzie, with fresh organic strawberries.
