Last night we went to the season opener for Kastles tennis as it begins its whirlwind three-week season in its new home, George Washington University’s Smith Center.
At the pre-match reception, we snapped Eagle Bank president Tom Murphy with his wife Denise and sportscaster and Pardon the Interruption co-host Tony Kornheiser.
Vornado’s Bruce Pascal and First Potomac Realty Trust CEO Doug Donatelli and his wife Mary. Given the torrential rain, everyone was happy the match was in an indoor stadium this year.
We snapped former world No. 1 Martina Hingis, named World Team Tennis female MVP last year, as she helped the Kastles overwhelm the Boston Lobsters 25-8.
