Tudor Place!
Last night we went to the 21st annual Spring Garden Party benefitting conservation efforts at Tudor Place.
$250k was raised to preserve the home, one of DCs finest examples of neoclassical architecture, as guests enjoyed a beautiful evening in the expansive yard with a buffet and open bar. We snapped Greater Washington Sports Alliances Kyle Brant with Heath Care Advisors Elizabeth Kane.
Phillip S. Peter (2nd right), a descendent of Martha Parke Custis Peter, George & Martha Washingtons granddaughter who built the house in the 1800s, was honored. Hes surrounded by Tudor Place executive director Leslie Buhler and co-chairs Paige Evans and Colman Riddell, and by Board member Tim Matz.
FP1 Strategies Rob Anderson, Tudor Places Jessica Zullinger, Laura Gaylord, and Cooke and Bielers John Hamblett.
Tudor Place Committee members Sarah Kuhn and Georgine Anton bookend past co-chair Carrington Tarr, Sarah McCullough, and designer Meg Carter.
