White House Easter Egg Roll
Yesterday we joined thousands on the White House lawn for the annual Easter Egg Roll.
After lots of very long lines, we joined the happy throngs on the South Lawn.
We snapped three DC folks who now live in NYC and came down for the day to help out with children’s entertainment movement Super Sprowtz: Cassidy Turley’s Emily Bush, non-profit AbilityList’s Andrew Horn, and delish watermelon water maker World Waters' Tara Purnell.
White House chef Sam Kass made a vegetable smoothie while the Super Sprowtz veggies sang and danced about why it’s important to eat healthy and how veggies have super powers.
California-based venture capitalist Derek Proudian helped out with Manuel Mushroom while Colby Carrot looks on.
And, of course, there were lots of adorable children.
