During the gala, YPFP announced a new Veterans’ U.S. National Security Fellowship. This year’s event was held this past Veterans Day weekend, recognizing the importance of veterans’ voices in foreign policy. Here, BAE Systems’ Zach Dickens with his wife, Ijet International’s Anamika Dickens. Zach won Charged Affairs Content Call during the event by YPFP, which believes that the perspectives of young professionals, and particularly veterans, are critical to the conversation on global security. Zach wrote the winning piece, "Resolving South Asia’s Cold War: Pakistan, India, and the Pursuit of Peace in Afghanistan."

YPFP also announced a new partnership with Veterans in Global Leadership, awarding 20 VGL fellows complimentary YPFP membership and giving them access to YPFP’s exclusive events, publishing opportunities and network of over 17,000 NextGen professionals worldwide.
