Book Party!

Yesterday we went to the Georgetown home of Arturo and Hilda Brillembourg (who unfortunately couldn’t join us due to too much snow in Aspen) for a PEN/Faulkner luncheon.
We celebrated a new novel called "utterly absorbing," Green on Blue by Elliot Ackerman, who read from his book and answered questions. We snapped him with videographer and former Fox5 reporter Jan Smith.
Fans of the story of war, love and betrayal in Afghanistan: Refugees International vice chair Elizabeth Galvin and chair Eileen Shields West, with Innocents at Risk founder Deborah Sigmund.
