Butterfly Bash!

We went to Woodmont Country Club in Rockville Friday for Jamison’s Butterfly Bash for the Share and Care CS Network to fund research and clinical trials.

The dinner benefit was hosted by Nikki Eberstein in honor of her daughter Jamison Rose, diagnosed with Cockayne Syndrome, a rare genetic condition with no cures or treatments. We snapped her, right, with presenting sponsors Tower Cos’ Brian and Shari Abramson.

Guests enjoyed a glowing purple ballroom covered in butterflies for an inspiring night, open bar, dinner and dancing. Here, Washington RE’s Dan Chappell, Daniel O'Neill and Maurice Electrical Supply’s Jack Kogod

All donations directly fund research to find treatments and a potential cure for CS. The rare genetic disorder is characterized by poor growth, developmental and neurological delays, and a shortened lifespan. Here, speech pathologist Andee Herson, Luggage and Leather owner Steven Smith and Judi Perry.

Nikki, like most parents with children like Jamison, works through the organization for new research developments. Here, Randi Kotok and her husband, Allegiance Advisory Group’s Joshua Kotok, with CertifiKid founders Jamie Ratner and Brian Ratner
