CEA Digital Patriots Dinner!
Last night we went to The Consumer Electronics Association’s Digital Patriots Dinner at The National Building Museum.
We snapped the honorees, Revolution CEO Steve Case and Rep. Bob Goodlatte, House Judiciary Committee chair, surrounded by NVTC CEO Bobbie Kilberg and Case Foundation CEO Jean Case.
The annual gala celebrates the achievements of industry and policy leaders who champion innovation in consumer technology, especially in support of a legal and regulatory framework. Here, Consumer Electronics Assn CEO Gary Shapiro with Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe.
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) launched its foundation in 2012 to link seniors and people with disabilities with technologies to enhance their lives through state-of-the-art technology. Here, Best Buy’s Chris Ashby, Amy Mortenson, CEA’s Verona O’Connell, and Grant Seiffert.
Proceeds benefited the CEA Foundation and this year, Girls Who Code, which helps girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities. The Star Spangled Banner was beautifully dedicated by US Army Chorus’ MSG Bob McDonald and SSG Matthew Smith.
