Celebrity Waiter Night!
Last night, we headed to Ryan Kerrigan's Blitz for the Better Foundation's fourth annual Celebrity Waiter Night at the Grand Hyatt. We snapped Washington linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (center) and his teammates Colt McCoy, Spencer Long, David Bruton Jr., Houston Bates and Dustin Hopkins, who traded their uniforms for aprons to serve dinner to the foundation's supporters.
The evening started off with Ryan taking photos with guests and signing autographs. Guests also participated in a silent auction, bidding on signed helmets and jerseys and other sports memorabilia. Here, board member CohnReznick's Bill Riley and the auctioneer, Brian Baumhor.
The players served a gourmet, three-course dinner while mingling and taking the time to sign each guest's football souvenirs. Here, Buck Distributing's Damian Doyle, Steve Palmer, and Rudy and Brandon Slice, who provided the beer and wine during the cocktail reception.
Proceeds will go toward installing more of Kerrigan's Korners at local hospitals, which are lockers filled with games and entertainment for sick children. Here, VA Linen Service's Tony Pry, Branch Box's Jason James and Herbert Kasey, and Northwestern Mutual's James Brown III.
