We went to so many extraordinary events over the weekend; we're starting with The Bash in Bloom.
We went to the residence of the Ambassador of Colombia to see performances from the Chamber Dance Project Company. We snapped its founder and artistic director Diane Coburn Bruning with Ambassador Juan Carlos Pinzón.
Proceeds benefited Chamber Dance Project, which performs contemporary ballet accompanied by live music in intimate settings. Here, Merck's Maureen Macfadden, gala chair Jacqui Michel, and Prevention of Blindness Society DC executive director Michele Hartlove.
Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails, savories by Top Chef alum Spike Mendelssohn, and desserts by Baked and Wired. Here, DOJ's Addison Franz, Chamber Dance Project board member Maureen Killion, and speech pathologist Mary McCabe.
There were stunning fresh flowers from Colombia, performances by soprano Narda Karinna Muñoz Suárez and street band Brass Connection, and a silent auction. Here, Michael Zingali, CityCenterDC's Timothy Lowery, and Toll Brothers Apartment Living's John Piedrahita.
