Coco Chanel And Marion Pike!
Last night, we headed to the National Museum of Women in the Arts for an exclusive reception highlighting their newest exhibition, "Coco Chanel and Marion Pike."
We snapped Museum Trustees Northern Trust's Joanie Stringer, The Claro Group's Pamela Parizek and West Front Strategies' Ashley Davis with the evening's co-chair and board of trustees President Cindy Jones.
Attendees gathered in the ornate lobby and mezzanine for the open bar reception and exhibition. Here, Cushman & Wakefield Executive Managing Director Cathy Jones joins Museum President Emerita Carol Lascaris and Trustee Mary Mochary.
The exhibition showcases the work of California artist Marion Pike, the only artist invited to paint portraits of famed French couturière Coco Chanel. Here, advisory board member Donna Coia joins former gala chair Toni Gore.
In addition to the open bar, guests enjoyed several stations of appetizers themed specially for the evening. Here, trustee Fran Usher joins Jack Snyder and his wife, trustee Dana Snyder.
Throughout the evening, guests also enjoyed live music from a Beatles cover band. Here, nutritionist and author Holli Thompson joins advisory board member Anjali Gupta with supporter Linda Donovan and Daren Thomas.
Here, past chair of the D.C. Commission for the Arts Anne Ashmore-Hudson joins sculptor Natalie Clark and museum supporters Irina Rapoport and Rhona Wolfe Friedman.
