Cool Down At The Crystal City Water Park Wine & Beer Garden — Extended Through July
Hundreds of beer lovers and wine enthusiasts have been flocking to Crystal City’s Water Park each Friday this month for its weekly Wine in the Water Park series. Crystal City’s pop-up wine and beer garden now plans to continue running through July, due to the engagement the event’s generated.
“People are always looking for unique and beautiful spaces to meet up with friends, listen to music and get a head start on the weekend,” Crystal City Business Improvement District CEO Angela Fox says. “Wine in the Water Park delivers on so many levels, and we are excited to extend the event into July in response to its popularity.”
One of Crystal City’s signature open spaces, the water park provides a great setting for relaxation and decompressing after a busy week at the office.
Host Vornado/Charles E. Smith recently upgraded the furniture throughout the park and is partnering with the Crystal City BID for new lighting to further enhance and activate the space.
Early birds can also sign up for a free painting session with ArtJamz. The canvasses are claimed quickly, but those not lucky enough to snag a spot will still be able to get creative at ArtJamz’s forthcoming retail studio in nearby Art Underground.
Attending Wine in the Water Park is free while libations curated by the sophisticated palates of the Washington Wine Academy team can be purchased at the bar.
