Dinner On Stage!
This weekend, we headed to the ninth annual Dinner on Stage at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre. Woolly Mammoth, known for its original and provocative productions, hosted its unique, black-tie dinner right on its stage. We snapped co-chairs David Cohen and Elizabeth Friedman with US Secretary of the Army Erik Fanning.
The evening started with cocktails backstage, where guests were surrounded by props from a recent show, Octoroon. We ate bites of mushroom tarts, duck wontons and ahi tuna and mingled with Woolly fans and supporters. Here, judge Kate O'Malley, Convington & Burling's George Pappas and Kevin Collins, and Johns Hopkins Hospital's Julia Miller.
On stage, guests were admiring the beautifully decorated props from past shows as centerpieces, while enjoying a three-course dinner of lobster bisque, roasted pear salad and sirloin with rosemary dijon jus. Here, Hagen Inc's Wendy Hagen, Merrill Lynch's Nancy Hartsock and Syngenta's Sarah Hull.
Everyone also got to take a tour of the set, and the dressing and costume rooms, before ending the night with desserts and dancing backstage. Here, Luis Gagliano, FDA's Kate Bent and Hilary Miller, and Student Veteran Affairs' Caren Gagliano.
