Disney On Ice!
Last night we also went to the opening night reception for Disney On Ice Worlds Of Fantasy at Verizon Center. We snapped BrankLinkDC's Jayne Sandman with her kids Owen and Harrison and husband, UrbanDaddy Washington Editor Jeff Dufour.
The action-packed ice spectacular showcases characters from Disney/Pixar’s Cars and Toy Story 3 and Disney’s Tinker Bell and The Little Mermaid. The show is produced by Feld Entertainment and runs through Feb. 16. Here, Jessie, Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story.

Highlights included high-speed stunts by realistic looking characters (including moving eyes and mouths) Lightning McQueen, Mater and the crew of Cars racing across the ice. The Little Mermaid's enchanting undersea kingdom came to life in a colorful backdrop, and performed songs like Under the Sea and Kiss de Girl. Here, Eric and Ariel.
