Exposed DC!
We went to the 11th annual Exposed DC Photography Show at AJAX. DC showcases life in the nation's capital through the eyes of local talent. For 11 years, it has given photographers of all levels an opportunity to expand their skills, feature their photos and network with others in the photography community. We snapped Drew Folgmann, National Geographic's Sarah Gardner and Counsyl's Stephanie Sargeant.
This year's annual contest highlighted 43 photographers and their iconic DC images, such as James Harvard's Womens March, Manuel Manansala's Icebergs and Andrew Golda's Cop in Smoke. Here, The Hill's Jessica and Joel Richards, Makul Ranjan and Kassandra Productions' Annika Lewis.
We enjoyed craft beer, wine, cheese and charcuterie while viewing all of the featured photos, which were printed, framed and available for purchase. Here, Jeff Bell, Campaign Finance Reform's Kelly Bell, and Healthcare Consumer Advocacy's Mac Blessen, whose City Center image was displayed alongside Pablo Benavente's BLM Chains and Mark Chen's Gloomy Night pictures.
The exhibition will be open through March 19. Congratulations to all of the winners. Here, NNCO's Quinn Spadola, ATSDR's Deborah Burgin, CenturyLink's John Murray, USDA's Shelah Morita and Adam Winkleman.
