HBS Honors David Bradley!
We joined an elegant group at Tiffany & Co in Tysons as the Harvard Business School Club of Washington honored Atlantic Media CEO David Bradley with its Lifetime Achievement Award. We snapped him with his wife, Katherine, and Mary and Bobby Haft. David and Bobby were classmates at HBS Class of '77, and Bobby introduced his longtime friend. David said he had an insular youth, and HBS showed him there was a world of possibilities.
NBC4 anchor Barbara Harrison, philanthropist Cindy Jones, HBS Club of Washington CEO Antonio Alves, who organized the evening, and City Bridge founder Katherine Bradley. One of David's former employees, now running a billion-dollar business, said, "I grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, and no one who knew me then would be surprised to hear I was in a jewelry store after hours."
Pedro and Christine Burelli are with philanthropist JoAnn Mason. It wasn't Breakfast at Tiffany: it was Dinner at Tiffany! Chilean sea bass with heirloom tomatoes and sugar snap peas, followed by beef tenderloin with haricot vert and swiss chard, and a dessert buffet had caramels covered in chocolate with sea salt.
