Hoedown!
Square dance music reverberated in Georgetown as people packed the home of Brooke and Stephane Carnot for the second annual Stroud Foundation hoedown.
The event honors the late pediatrician Dr. Frank Stroud, who devoted his life to helping children with learning issues succeed. Here, his daughter and the night's host, Brooke Stroud Carnot, former MD Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Frank's widow, Kandy Stroud, and the State Dept's Caroline Croft.
Emory's Cameron Taylor, Ogilvy's Gordon Taylor and ABC producer Avery Miller.
The party mixed do-si-do's with Motown and hip-hop, the dance floor jumped with all ages dancing until midnight, and raised over $50k for scholarships and assistance to DC-area children with learning differences. Here, National PKU Alliance's Carolyn Nordberg and Alison Reynolds.
