Hunt the City DC
We put our knowledge of DC to the test by participating in Hunt the City, an interactive scavenger hunt featuring GPS check-ins and photo challenges across the city.
Over 120 participants tried to accomplish as many of the 55 tasks as possible in three hours. We snapped participating Georgetown and GWU students: Katherine Seder, Siobhan Nolan, Morgan Schreck, Natasha Khan and Saba Amiri.
Hunt challenges were scattered across the city; guests were guided by a new app called Scavify. Here, the curators: Global Vision Communications president Neil Hare and creative director Jennifer Bethel and her husband, Sean Bethel.
One task set guests looking for the DC row house painted like a watermelon, while another asked for a re-creation of JFK's marriage proposal to Jackie O at Georgetown's Martin's Tavern. Here, one rendering of that famous moment with Austin Lucas and Danielle Fishman.
The family-friendly hunt finale took place at the Citi Open, for tennis, refreshments and a concert by White Ford Bronco. Here, sponsor CQ Roll Call's Kristi Gunster and husband Gerry, Goddard Gunster CEO, hunting through the city with their children Anna and Will.
